This Privacy Policy is issued by ‘The Toy Shop’, which is physical and online store retailing children’s toys and gifts. Please read this privacy policy before using the site or submitting any personal information. The Toy Shop is based in Ireland and our website is hosted on Register 365 servers that are located in Ireland and the UK. We have physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in place that safeguard personal information about you. This includes an SSL Cert, which makes sure our site is secured to protect transactions with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption.
What information do we collect
Information is collected from you when you register with an account on our site or when you place an order. The information we collect when registering or ordering on this site will be your name, email address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. These details are needed so that we can deliver your orders to you and send service messages by either email or phone for order and delivery updates
When choosing to register an account with us, you are required to set up a password which will enable you to access your account on The Toy Shop website. You are responsible for the password you choose and it is advised that you keep this password to yourself and not share it with anyone else.

Online Payments
We currently use both Paypal and Stripe as gateways for our payments. All payment transactions are encrypted using SSL technology.
Third Party Organisations
The Third Party organisations associated with The Toy Shop only have access to your personal information as it is needed to perform their tasks. Their access to that data is contractually bound and they cannot use it for other purposes. In each case where we share your data, we remain the Data Controller and the third-party organisation as a Data Processor must abide by the practices outlined in this policy and can only use the data as instructed by The Toy Shop.
